Edgar Silva leads the firm's maintenance and asset management practice. At his core, he is a maintenance and reliability engineer whose career has focused on helping oil and gas organizations build trusted asset information through asset hierarchies, preventive maintenance strategies, maintenance excellence programs, job plans, and master data. At 2E, he applies that experience to improving asset and materials data, maintenance workflows, and digital transformation initiatives within clients' CMMS and EAM systems.

Edgar's background combines maintenance excellence at Shell with enterprise asset management consulting across petrochemical and LNG operations. His expertise includes equipment integrity, CMMS implementation, SAP PM, and IBM Maximo. He holds a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from Rice University and is fluent in English and Spanish, enabling him to work effectively with clients and project teams across North America and Latin America.

Edward Wang leads the firm's software and AI practice. He is at core a systems engineer, and his career has been spent building measurement systems in which the number produced has to be trusted: sensor hardware, signal processing, and the AI that runs on top of both. At 2E he applies that background to asset and materials systems, in the architecture, data integration, custom software, AI environments, and operating controls the firm brings up for oil and gas organizations.

Edward has received national recognition from the National Academy of Engineering and the National Academy of Inventors for his contributions to computing systems as a member of the engineering faculty at the University of California and, previously, at Stanford University. He has led multiple technology companies, conducted research at Microsoft and Intel, and holds multiple granted US patents. He holds a PhD in electrical and computer engineering from the University of Washington and a BS in engineering from Harvey Mudd College.
